Slow growth for the INTRAC Group

Sales of construction equipment in both Baltic’s and Poland was during 2016 still on a surprisingly low level. Even if INTRAC maintains the market shares the total market was a big disapointment with a drop of around 20% in machine sales in the INTRAC markets compared to 2015. "We are a bit puzzled, especially the Latvian market developed very poorly in 2016. We do not see anyy real reason for this and expect a positive growth for construction machine sales during during 2017" says Fredrik Brandhorst, Sales Director at INTRAC Group.

INTRAC Eesti accounted for the highest revenues in the INTRAC Group followed by INTRAC Latvija. Main part of INTRAC Eesti's sales comes from strong sales of forest machines while for INTRAC Lietuva sales of telehandlers accounted for the main part of machine revenues. Biggest sales of construction machines was achieved by INTRAC Polska.

"I am very pleased with good growth in after sales during 2016. Revenues developed well for both parts and service, and the strongest growth in service was recorded by INTRAC Polska, up 30%" says Carl Leijonhielm, INTRAC Group president.
