INTRAC reports flat 2015

2016-01-28 - INTRAC reports flat 2015

Year 2015 proved to be a disappointment for the INTRAC group of companies. The restricted trade with neighbouring Russia affected some of the customer groups like ports and farming industry while the pessimistic sentiment seemingly influenced investment decisions also in other fields of business. Total sales reached EUR 56.5 millions which was practically unchanged since the year before.

"We saw a shift during 2015 where business volume shrunk in the Baltic's but this was balanced off by increased sales in Poland", INTRAC Group President  Mr. Carl Leijonhielm explains. "I think it is still a lot of psychology holding back many investments and I have good hope to soon see a faster growth back also in the Baltic's."

"Good thing is that we manage to keep or for some products even increase our market shares." Marketing Director, Mr.Fredrik Brandhorst adds. "This means we will be well off when the Baltic market starts to grow again. Also our new agency for Massey Ferguson will create more business for INTRAC, not only for tractors and combined but also aftesales as well as complementary products thus 2016 looks in many ways very promising
